Trafficking in Japan
Japan is known as an “international hub for the production and trafficking of child pornography,” according to the 2013 U.S. Department of State’s human-rights report. Photo albums and DVDs depicting nudity of preteen children are out on the shelves publicly. Child pornography has existed for so long in Japan’s culture that it will take time for legal revisions to stop the sexual abuse of minors.
This project was done as part of a typography class. It explores two sides of human trafficking, which are culture and child pornography.
